talentsconnect flexibly optimizes the entire recruiting process. The modular product architecture adapts flexibly to individual needs. The subject of data protection is personal data. This is individual information about the personal or factual circumstances of a specific or identifiable natural person. This includes, for example, information such as name, postal address, e-mail address or telephone number, but also usage data, if applicable. Usage data is data that is required to use our websites, such as information about the beginning, end and extent of use of our website and login data. Which data is collected by us and how it is processed or used is described below:

Collection and use of your data

Automated data collection

When you access the talentsconnect website, your internet browser automatically transmits data for technical reasons. The following data is stored separately from other data that you may transmit to us:

Browser type/-version
OS Version
URL of the previously visited website
IP Address
Amount of data sent

This data is stored exclusively for technical reasons and is not assigned to a specific person at any time. We reserve the right to check this data retrospectively if we become aware of specific indications of unlawful use.

Is there an obligation to provide data?

The entry of data at talentsconnect is voluntary and without obligation. You decide yourself which data you provide as part of the use. For technical and functional reasons, in some cases it is necessary to provide data in order to use talentsconnect. The following paragraphs describe for each Talents Connect product which data would have to be entered on a mandatory basis.

Data entered by users

talentsconnect – JobShop

The JobShop, as an intuitive user interface, handles effective job matching and serves as an orientation tool. After answering questions, corresponding job suggestions are made to you. In principle, JobShop can be used without registration and thus without providing personal data.

Provided that consent has been given, the user can use the remember me function and have future jobs sent to him by email by providing personal data (title, name and email address). A passing on of the data does not take place. The data that must be entered are marked accordingly. Should the data be passed on to the customer of talentsconnect in order to be included in the customer's talent pool, this will be explicitly pointed out when consent is given. The consent of children under the age of 16 is only effective if it comes from the parents or is given with their consent. Revocation of consent is of course possible at any time.

Via the Fast Track application, the user can send his contact details to the respective company. If the user has consented, the relevant data (title, name and email address) will be passed on to the respective company and a user profile with this data will be created on talentsconnect so that the user can manage his or her applications. The data that must be entered is marked accordingly. The consent of children under the age of 16 is only effective if it comes from their parents or is given with their consent. Revocation of consent is, of course, possible at any time.

talentsconnect - Cockpit solutions for applicants and recruiters

With talentsconnect Cockpit solutions, you can register as an applicant with talentsconnect and create a profile with your application data. This allows you to manage your profile data and use talentsconnect as an application management tool. Recruiters also use talentsconnect for application management. In order to take full advantage of talentsconnect Cockpit solutions, you would need to register for the first time. To do this, you need to enter your name, email address, and a password. This data is needed to set up and manage a user account for you, as well as to enable you to use the full range of Talents Connect services. Last but not least, talentsconnect also needs this and possibly other data in order to be able to respond to requests, questions and criticism. When registering, you consent to the processing of personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy. The consent of children under the age of 16 is only effective if it comes from their parents or is given with their consent. Revocation of consent is, of course, possible at any time.

talentsconnect - Cockpit Solutions: Voluntary data for applicants

talentsconnect also offers you the opportunity to personalize your profile. For this purpose, you can, for example, enter information about your address, hobbies, gender, date of birth, interests, telephone number, Skype contact, degrees and your professional career. Further, you can upload a photo of yourself on your profile page. This information is voluntary and not required to sign up. Therefore, you should carefully choose what you put in your profile and thereby share it with other users. Before personalizing your profile, you can answer questions. Your answers help us to achieve better matching results.

Revoking your consent to data processing

Many data processing operations are only possible with your explicit consent. You can revoke consent you have already given at any time. For this purpose, an informal communication by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

What is your data processed for (purpose of processing) and on what legal basis?

We process the aforementioned personal data in accordance with the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) (new version) as well as other relevant specialized laws:

Data processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

Is there any automated decision making (including profiling)?

talentsconnect – JobShop

The talentsconnect JobShop offers the possibility that the most suitable job profile is displayed by answering questions. This allows the user to pre-sort all job profiles, but this is essentially driven by filters. In the results list, the user also has the option of viewing other job profiles.

talentsconnect – Cockpit Solutions

The talentsconnect Cockpit solutions offers the recruiter the possibility to pre-sort all applicants by answering questions from the applicant and recruiter.

The data we collect is used to analyze and make decisions about certain personal aspects relating to you, in particular your job-related knowledge and interests and information about your education. The data processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

Passing on data

In principle, your personal data will only be passed on without your explicit prior consent in the following cases:

If it serves to clarify an illegal platform use or is necessary for legal prosecution, personal data will be forwarded to law enforcement authorities and, if applicable, to injured third parties. However, this only happens if there are concrete indications of unlawful or abusive behavior. A transfer may also take place if this serves the enforcement of terms of use or other agreements. Talents Connect is also legally obligated to provide information to certain public authorities upon request. These are law enforcement agencies, authorities that prosecute administrative offenses subject to fines, and tax authorities.

Occasionally, we rely on contractually affiliated third-party companies and external service providers to provide services, for example in the areas of sending advertising (only if you have explicitly consented to this in advance) and customer service. In such cases, information is passed on to these companies or individuals in order to enable them to continue processing. These external service providers are carefully selected and regularly reviewed by us to ensure that your privacy is protected. The service providers may only use the data for the purposes specified by talentsconnect. The service providers are also contractually obligated by talentsconnect to treat your data exclusively in accordance with this Privacy Policy and within the framework of the DSGVO.

Your data may be forwarded to the company to which you apply, depending on the use of talentsconnect products. The data will only be forwarded after your explicit consent.

Your contact data (e-mail, telephone, Skype) will only be forwarded to the company after your explicit consent in the form of the contact confirmation for the respective interested company or through your inquiry.

As our business evolves, talentsconnect's structure may change by changing its legal form, establishing, buying or selling subsidiaries, divisions or components. In such transactions, customer information will be transferred along with the part of the business being transferred. In any transfer of personal information to third parties to the extent described above, talentsconnect will ensure that it is done in accordance with this Privacy Policy and relevant data protection laws.

Content or services offered by our customers or other third parties as functionality on this website (e.g. chat windows) are identified by their logo and/or name and are subject to the data protection provisions stated there with reference to the respective responsible entity. We do not process any data collected as part of these contents and services.

Deletion of your data

As far as your data is no longer required for the aforementioned purposes, it will be deleted:

talentsconnect – JobShop

The talentsconnect JobShop solutions enable, on the one hand, via the remember me function, that the user receives information about new job offers. The deletion of personal data only takes place when the user wishes to do so, as he or she will continue to be informed about job offers until that time.

Through the Talent Pool function, the user is added to talentsconnect's customer contact database after consent has been given. The deletion of the personal data will only take place if the user so wishes, as he or she can continue to remain in the client's Talent Pool until that time.

talentsconnect – Cockpit

The talentsconnect Cockpit solutions are essentially used to manage the user's own applications ("Application Management") and, if applicable, to add the user to the Talent Pool ("Contact Database") of the talentsconnect customer. The deletion of personal data only takes place when the user requests it, as he or she can continue to remain in the customer's Talent Pool until that time.

In the talentsconnect Cockpit solution, we offer you the option to delete your user account yourself. If you wish to delete your data in the other talentsconnect products, please send an email to hello@talentsconnect.com. In this case, your profile will be deleted completely and permanently. If data must be retained for legal reasons, it will be restricted in processing until final deletion and thus blocked. The data will then no longer be available for further use.

Content posted in interactive areas may be stored for an unlimited period of time. There is no link to your career profile. If at any time you wish to have posted content removed, please send us an e-mail to this effect to hello@talentsconnect.com.

Of course, you alone decide what data you wish to share with us. talentsconnect is committed to the principle of data minimization. However, if you do not provide talentsconnect with certain information, you may not be able to use http://www.talentsconnect.com to its full extent.

Contact form

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your information from the inquiry form, including the contact data you provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

The processing of the data entered in the contact form is thus carried out exclusively on a voluntary basis and on the basis of your consent given with it (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO) and usually serves pre-contractual or contractual purposes (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time. For this purpose, an informal communication by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you entered in the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to store it or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies. Mandatory legal provisions - in particular retention periods - remain unaffected.

Mandrill to send transactional emails (not newsletters)

talentsconnect uses the transactional email service Mandrill to send emails for the purpose of communicating with you. Mandrill is a service provided by The Rocket Science Group, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, whereby the email address, salutation, first name and last name, as well as the content of an email, are transmitted to and stored by Mandrill. Mandrill provides extensive analytics about how emails are opened and used. These analyses are group-related and are not used by us for individual evaluation. Mandrill also uses the Google Analytics analysis tool and may integrate it when sending the e-mails. For more information about Mandrill as well as its service Mailchimp and its privacy policy, please visit https://www.intuit.com/privacy/statement/ . The use of Mandrill is indispensable for communication with you.

We trust Mandrill's reliability and IT and data security. Mandrill is bound by EU/US standard contractual clauses to comply with EU data protection requirements in accordance with the GDPR. The standard contractual clauses are part of the "Data Processing Agreement" that we have concluded with Mandrill. This is a contract in which Mandrill undertakes to protect the data of our users, to process it on our behalf in accordance with data protection regulations and, in particular, not to pass it on to third parties.

Newsletter

The following information explains the contents of our newsletter as well as the registration, dispatch and statistical evaluation procedures and your rights of objection. By subscribing to our newsletter, you agree to receive it and to the procedures described.

talentsconnect reserves the right to offer you a free newsletter service. Through the newsletter, talentsconnect will provide information about new features, new promotions, developments, and new talentsconnect team members, as well as participation in surveys to alert you to new products or services or to provide you with other information that may be of interest to you. Furthermore, we may inform you in the newsletter about offers and products of our cooperation partners.

The registration for our newsletter takes place in a so-called double opt-in procedure. This means that after registration you will receive an e-mail in which you are asked to confirm your registration. This confirmation is necessary so that no one can register with other e-mail addresses.

The registrations for the newsletter are logged in order to be able to prove the registration process according to the legal requirements. This includes the storage of the registration and confirmation time, as well as the IP address. Likewise, changes to your data stored with MailChimp are logged.

Mailchimp for sending newsletters

The newsletter is sent using "MailChimp", a newsletter sending platform of the US provider Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE #5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.

The email addresses of our newsletter recipients, as well as their other data described in the context of these notes, are stored on the servers of MailChimp in the USA. MailChimp uses this information to send and evaluate the newsletter on our behalf. Furthermore, according to its own information, MailChimp may use this data to optimize or improve its own services, e.g. to technically optimize the dispatch and display of the newsletters or for economic purposes to determine from which countries the recipients come. However, MailChimp does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to address them itself or to pass them on to third parties.

MailChimp is obligated under standard contractual clauses to comply with the European data protection level DSGVO. The standard contractual clauses are part of the "Data Processing Agreement" that we have concluded with MailChimp. This is a contract in which MailChimp undertakes to protect the data of our users, to process it on our behalf in accordance with the data protection regulations and, in particular, not to pass it on to third parties.

Statistical collection and analyses
The newsletters contain a so-called "web-beacon", i.e. a pixel-sized file that is retrieved from the MailChimp server when the newsletter is opened. As part of this retrieval, technical information, such as information about the browser and your system, as well as your IP address and time of retrieval are initially collected. This information is used for the technical improvement of the services based on the technical data or the target groups and their reading behavior based on their retrieval locations (which can be determined with the help of the IP address) or the access times.

The statistical surveys also include the determination of whether the newsletters are opened, when they are opened and which links are clicked. For technical reasons, this information can be assigned to individual newsletter recipients. However, it is neither our endeavor nor that of MailChimp to observe individual users. The evaluations serve us much more to recognize the reading habits of our users and to adapt our content to them or to send different content according to the interests of our users.

Online call and data management
There are cases where we direct newsletter recipients to MailChimp's websites. For example, our newsletters contain a link that newsletter recipients can use to retrieve the newsletters online (e.g., in case of display problems in the email program). Furthermore, newsletter recipients can subsequently correct their data, such as the e-mail address. Likewise, the privacy policy of MailChimp is only available on their site.

In this context, we point out that cookies are used on the websites of MailChimp and thus personal data is processed by MailChimp, its partners and service providers used (e.g. Google Analytics). We have no influence on this data collection. For more information, please refer to the privacy policy of MailChimp.

Cancellation/revocation
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. Each newsletter contains information on how you can unsubscribe from the newsletter with effect for the future.

At the same time, your consent to its dispatch via MailChimp and the statistical analyses will expire. A separate revocation of the dispatch via MailChimp or the statistical analysis is unfortunately not possible.

Legal basis Data Protection Regulation
In accordance with the requirements of the Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO) applicable as of May 25, 2018, we inform you that the consents to the sending of email addresses are based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a, 7 DSGVO and § 7 para. 2 No. 3, or para. 3 UWG. The use of the dispatch service provider MailChimp, implementation of statistical surveys and analyses as well as logging of the registration process, are carried out on the basis of our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Our interest is directed towards the use of a user-friendly as well as secure newsletter system that serves our business interests as well as meets the expectations of users. If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an e-mail address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the specified e-mail address and agree to receive the newsletter. Further data will not be collected. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.

You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the e-mail address and their use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the "unsubscribe" link in the newsletter.

This allows LinkedIn to measure reach by recording who was redirected to the website via the LinkedIn ad. This makes it possible to track the behavior of page visitors with LinkedIn profile after they are redirected to the provider's website by clicking on the LinkedIn ad. This allows the effectiveness of the LinkedIn ads to be evaluated for statistical and market research purposes and future advertising measures to be optimized.

The following personal data of users with LinkedIn profiles is collected via the cookie:

  • URL,
  • Referrer-URL
  • Device properties
  • Browser properties
  • IP Address

LinkedIn pseudonymizes and/or anonymizes the collected data within 7 days. These are not attributable to a person for us as the operator of this website, which is why we can therefore not draw any conclusions about the identity of the user. The deletion of the collected data by LinkedIn takes place within 90 or 180 days. The use of personal data by LinkedIn can be controlled in the account settings of LinkedIn. Insights measured by Jobspreader Analytics help us assess the Jobspreader campaign in terms of environment, content, and procedures to optimize if necessary. In addition, we note how often users consent to Jobspreader Analytics (we recognize this by whether and thus how often the Jobspreader Analytics script is loaded). Jobspreader Analytics process the user's IP address for a short time, and the IP address is deleted immediately afterward and not processed further.

talentsconnect flexibly optimizes the entire recruiting process.

6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO).

LinkedIn Tag Manager

Our site uses the LinkedIn Tag Manager from LinkedIn, LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland for audience targeting. The LinkedIn Insight Tag is a pixel that places a cookie in the browser of the user with a LinkedIn profile.

The prerequisite for this is the active consent of the user via the cookie consent tool, in accordance with Art. 6 I lit.a DSGVO. Consent can be revoked at any time with effect for the future.
